Off Route Travel is a travel company based in Jamaica that specializes in customized travel. We pride ourselves in giving our clients an authentic experience of Jamaica; from staying in a boutique hotel to touring and interacting with locals.
Our team of travel experts are Jamaican natives who have over 5 years of experience in the tourism industry, and they know all the hidden gems and unique stays the island has to offer. We aim to give our clients a special touch- you will be assigned your very own travel concierge that will customize your vacation to suit your needs; down to the smallest detail from the planning stage of your vacation to the very end.
If you are traveling for business or simply just for leisure; wedding, baecation, or as a group, your Off Route Travel concierge will research and create a vacation profile for you, plan and book your stay, private transportation, and even customize your tours.
Our Story
Our founder has always dreamt of traveling the world and decided to start with her own country (Jamaica) and was inspired to start a travel blog in 2016 sharing her adventures around the island of Jamaica.
Her aim was to highlight the raw, untouched and hidden beauties of the island. She then started working in the tourism industry where she got a full grasp on the travel industry; taking care of guests, learning about their preferences, building vacation profiles, creating long term plans for travelers and their families, planning and booking reservations and recommending places to visit on the island to get a more authentic experience of Jamaica. Off Route Travel- the concierge service was then birthed and our aim is to give visitors and locals a little extra of what the island has to offer.
